YOU vs YOU

Yes, I mean you, yes you, is you and nobody else who can make your life better,

It is you, who can make the unforeseen happen,

It is you, who can make you the person you dream of becoming, nobody can do better than you for you, it is you, you and you again, and nobody else.

Reminding yourself, there was always a time when you thought it was over and there was no way out and yet you found your way, there was a time when people said you couldn’t do it and you were not worth it yet you prevailed, the truth is, nobody knows your dream better than you, nobody can believe in your dream more than you, nobody can dedicate to your dream more than you, it all depends on how you communicate with yourself, what you feed your brain is what matters, it is you vs you.

No excuses, no complaints, no negotiation or arrangements, take responsibility for whatever happens, be it wrong or right, have a no excuse mentality, nobody can shove you to that level you dream of attaining, is not your coach, no your mentor, neither your friends nor your family members, the problem is you and the solution is you, it is you vs you and not you vs the world.

Your friends won't push you there because they fear being overshadowed by your glow, and your parents won't be too hard on you out of tenderness and the love they have for you, you will always remain a baby in front of their eyes, so, it's you and you alone.

Push yourself hard and make it happen, nobody is doing it for you, is either you do it or you do it, go hard, it isn't coming easy, get hurt, be broken, lose hope but never quit, and always remember that is you against yourself, no matter the results when you lose or win is still you vs you, you are not in any competition against anyone else, it's just you and yourself on the way, you are simply facing your struggles and I believe you can handle it through God.

Nobody can validate your purpose, find it out yourself, it all rests in your hands, do it at your own pace, be uncomfortable, get stressed, and feel like you can't do it but don't believe it because you can, believe it or not, is nobody but is only you who can make the difference, be the catalyst yourself.

Do all you do in public and more in private too, you don’t have to be great in public only, be great in private, how much energy and what you do behind the scenes counts a lot, is great to be applauded by people in public but applaud yourself in private too, do it when nobody else is watching you, do it while there is nobody to impress, make it personal this time around.

Wake up every day and be grateful for two things, thank Allah first for yet witnessing another day, and then thank your past for the lessons, called out to today and tomorrow and make a promise to them that you are ready, ready to let go of yesterday's negative energy, ghost those friends and family members who don't see your goal and keep your word.

Master your craft, be obsessed with whatever you are doing or want to do, have a picture of the person you want to be in the future, work towards that direction, have zero doubts about yourself, and stop worrying about whether people believe in you or not, do it alone because you indeed are alone.

You will fail uncountable times because failure is that lesson you need to learn from to succeed, keep going no matter what because life has many moving points, and it is not waiting on you, keep going even when you have to go alone, keep going until you can’t go anymore, have a rest a bit, wake up and rev your speed to catch up, in either direction move along with life.

Always fight, and keep fighting until you get bled, fight until you can’t fight anymore, take a break, wake up, and fight again, don't give up as long as you breathe, it's not over until it's over, you didn't come this far just to come this far, come on! Don't quit, the sky won't be your limit but your starting point instead, and hopefully, you will die as a legend.

Make good use of the power of I can, get used to saying it out loud to yourself and you will, saying I can loud to you is like doing half of whatever awaits you, you can be whatever you want to be provided that you are in control and not the people around you, fight your own battle, while everyone else fights theirs too, be your hero and rule your destiny.

Everyone will accompany you for as long as possible, but you are to make the final step, you are the one to press the final bottom, you are the one to make the final decision, and stop relying on people for whatever you are to do because people can be so unreliable at times and everyone will disappoint you someday, do it by yourself, for yourself and do it because you have to, do it because you need to and most importantly do it because you want to do it.

Remember not only can you create your life but recreate it, be brave and make your own decisions, don't let anybody hold your pen, sometimes taking advice from the people you trust the most can be the worst thing ever, be the author of your own story.
